Scrap’n’Chat Night May 2016

When:  Friday 20th May 2016This event is going ahead. Book now to secure your place!

Time: 7pm – 10.30pm* (you can arrive anytime after 7pm)

What’s Included: Bring along your comfy pants & warm slippers, you are in for a relaxed night of card making or scrapbooking fun. Not only will you have access to my extensive range of Stampin’ Up! stamp sets. You will also be able to use my Stampin’ Up! ink pads, punches, Big Shot, embossing folders & dies should you wish. Tea & coffee will be provided along with some choccies. You will have the opportunity to work on your own projects in a friendly environment & the chance to share ideas & tips & tricks with other like minded ladies or gents. While you are here you are also more than welcome to fill in an order form & place an order for some Stampin’ Up! goodies! It will be getting close to the end of the current Annual Catalogue & Ideas book & possibly your last chance to grab some of the retiring items if they haven’t sold out already.

Event fee: $10 per person

Group Size: Scrap’n’Chat group sizes are limited to a maximum of 6-8 people. This is to create a more relaxed & comfortable environment in which to enjoy your craft time. No children please.

Reserving a seat: To secure yourself & a friend a seat prepayment of the event fee is required. Bookings can be made anytime up to 1 week prior to the class date (in this case, Friday 13th May). Bookings after this date may or may not be available.

What Should I Bring With Me?: Bring along your basic kit (this will include things like a paper trimmer, adhesives, scissors, pencils, rulers, & a craft mat) You will also need to supply your own consumable items, which includes but is not limited to things like cardstock, patterned papers, ribbons, embellishments, baby wipes & so on. If you have a card making kit or have a scrapbook layout kit then this is the perfect event to break it open & start working on it. Kits make it easier to complete your projects within the time frame & are quick & easy to pack up & take with you. They also allow you more time to talk, as they require less thinking & often less time cutting up your cardstock & paper as it’s already all done for you.

Of course you are still more then welcome to come along and make your own projects from scratch. Should you forget to bring along something like cardstock or adhesive I may have some spare here that can be purchased on the night (cash only).

You are also more than welcome to bring along your own snacks & drinks**.

In the instance that this event fills to capacity we will be tight on space. To help avoid any unfortunate accidents I would like to take this chance to remind everyone to be mindful of how much of their craft stash they bring & to please limit themselves to one average sized tote bag (equivalent to two plastic shopping bags). You may chose to bring along extra bags & supplies however they will need to remain in your car when not being used. It is a good chance to practice packing lightly as most of us crafter’s tend to bring along far more than we ever use. I know that I am guilty of this myself.

What Happens If I Book But Can’t Attend:

In the instance that you are unable to attend the event on the scheduled day/night a minimum of 1 weeks notice will need to be given in order to obtain a full refund. 

Failure to give the required amount of notice will result in your event fee being forfeited.

Your event fee is used among other things to cover costs including catering, prizes & other activities that may occur at different events. These are all organised at least 1 week prior to the event date & as such fees will not be refunded for less than 1 weeks notice.

* Please be aware that the evening will start drawing to a close around 10pm. This evening is being held in the comfort of a family home. Out of consideration for my family & neighbours the evening must conclude by 10.30pm. If  anyone wishes to place an order for Stampin’ Up! products on the night, could you please assist me by placing & finalising your order before 10.15pm.  Final pack up needs to be finished by 10.30pm. I would like to thank you for your understanding in advance.

** If you choose to bring along alcoholic beverages, please remember to drink responsibly & not to drive if you are over the legal limit.
